Center for the Strategic National Stockpile

With more than 250 civil servants, U.S. Public Health Service officers, and contractors, the Center for the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) is prepared to support responses to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats, as well as emerging infectious diseases and pandemics. The SNS workforce includes experts in pharmacy, clinical care, emergency management, medical logistics and operations, quality control, public health, procurement and financial management, information technology, strategic planning, training, and risk communications. Together, they ensure medical resources are ready and can be delivered where and when they are needed most.
